Rock the Vote 2.1, Embrace the Hustle
This one is a bit out of the ordinary, as it will feature a guest writer. The other feature of this article is to encourage you to go vote on the Stacks 2.1 proposal. These links provided give you all of the data that you need to make an informed decision one way or the other. I am not going to tell you how to vote, that isn't the point of this at all. The fact is that Stacks is a decentralized blockchain, and we have the opportunity to help shape the future of Stacks. This is an ethical, forward thinking endeavor, and I believe that it is worth the 2 minutes of your time to go make your voice heard.
As I previously mentioned this article will feature a guest blogger. His name is johnd.btc, and he is a young man from Nigeria. John is one of several young men from that country who I have had the immense pleasure of getting to know these past months. These gentlemen see the potential of Stacks, and are working hard, often times, with few resources to make things happen. If they aren't on your radar yet, they will be. This kind of drive and determination can be quite rare in wealthy countries. Thankfully Bitcoin and crypto allows for a pretty even playing field in terms of opportunity, and while Western youth cant figure out what to be offended by next; these dudes are learning to code, write, make NFTs, and the art of entrepreneurship.
Getting back to young John (yeah, he is quite the young lad) he is in the DMs on the daily basis. While he is trying to learn how to code, and mint his own NFTs he also expressed an interest in writing. Seeing as though I had planned on helping someone get started on Sigle to celebrate my 5,000 visitor milestone, he expressed interest in getting his hands on that Explorer I pledged to give away. So without further ado, here is John's first published blogging excerpt:
Introducing Johnd.btc, aspiring coder, artist, writer, and all around hustler
I'm John from Nigeria, a stacks developer and a NFT collector/creator on stacks and I'm still learning on stacks and learning languages. I love stacks a lot and I'm surrounded with very nice people in Stacks.

Takeaways
The above was presented with minimum editing on my part. John wasn't sure what to write about, so my suggestion was to introduce himself and give a small tutorial on how to vote on the 2.1 update. I think he did a good job, and he is now the owner of his very own Sigle Explorer. If he wishes to continue on this path, he has yet another tool at his disposal to create value for himself and his loved ones. Keep up the good work John.
Before we go, make sure you take a couple of minutes and go vote. The voting ends around December 10, 2022, so there isn't very much time left. I would have liked to have gotten this message out a bit earlier, but I am following John's example and hustling every day. I like how this piece turned out better anyway.
I don't have anything left to say, thanks for reading as always. Until next time, John and Jack.
